    Something interesting….

Did you know that your pets can be left or right pawed? “How can you tell?” we hear you asking. Well, there are a few different ways that you can check which paw your pet prefers. Here’s a couple:
    1) Watch which paw is used first when stepping forward,
    2) Which paw holds the bone while chewing?
    3) Put a treat just out of reach under the couch and see which paw is used to try to retrieve it
So, does it make any difference, if your pet is left or right handed?
Well, a 2006 study from Dr Nick Branson found that ambidextrous dogs (those without a paw preference) are more likely to react to noises such as thunderstorms or fireworks.
I guess we all know what we are all going to be doing after reading this, don’t we? 🙂
